About The Position

The Data Entry Coordinator transcribes clinical research data from source documents into electronic data capture systems, following ALCOA-C principles. The role supports accurate, efficient, and timely data entry across multiple clinical trials and assists clinical operations, quality, and regulatory teams with data verification and audit preparation. The coordinator works with clinical trial personnel and external partners while following applicable protocols, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent computer skills and knowledge of medical or research terminology.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Motivation to work consistently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities.
Ability to meet the physical requirements of sitting, typing, standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
Ability to report to work as scheduled.

Nice To Haves

One year of data entry or related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Comply with current protocols, SOPs, GCPs, IRB and FDA guidelines, and the site training program.
Ensure timely data entry through department and study tracking.
Maintain professional relationships with Clinical Operations, Quality, Regulatory, CROs, Sponsors, and key clinical trial personnel.
Transcribe data correctly and efficiently from source documents to electronic data capture.
Assist with preparation for internal and external data audits alongside clinical operations, quality, and regulatory teams.
Complete training and obtain applicable certificates and access to CRFs/EDC.
Verify source documents, including through buddy checks.
Assist CRCs with accurate and timely entry of data from paper source documents to eCRFs for multiple clinical trials.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
