About the position
As a member of the analytics team at Turo, the Data Analyst will analyze complex databases and share insights with different levels of the company. They will perform exploratory analysis to identify product improvement areas and present analysis and action plans to all levels of the company. The Data Analyst will work closely with product teams and influence the product roadmap. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a data analyst role, proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools, and excellent communication skills in French and English. This is a partially remote position and is eligible for people with disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex databases and share insights at different levels of the company.
- Conduct exploratory analysis to identify product improvement areas and improve domain knowledge to address business issues.
- Present analysis and action plans at all levels of the company and work with product teams to analyze and iterate quickly.
- Create dashboards and monitor KPIs.
- Work in partnership with data engineers to improve infrastructure.
- Support ad hoc analytical projects based on Turo's strategic priorities.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a data analyst role
- Proficiency in SQL and understanding of relational databases
- Experience with a data visualization tool such as Tableau, Domo, or Power BI
- Curiosity and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills in both French and English
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
- Positive attitude, integrity, and commitment to Turo's mission
- Experience with Python, Git, and AirFlow is strongly recommended
- Excellent English proficiency
