About the position
As a member of the analytics team at Turo, you will have the opportunity to explore and understand how millions of users interact with Turo's marketplace. Your role will involve analyzing complex databases, conducting exploratory analyses, and presenting insights and action plans to various levels of the company. You will collaborate closely with product teams and influence the product roadmap. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a data analyst, proficiency in SQL and relational databases, and experience with Tableau. Strong communication skills, curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively are also important for this role.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing complex databases and sharing insights at different levels of the company.
- Conducting exploratory analysis to identify product improvement areas and enhance domain knowledge to address business challenges.
- Presenting analysis and action plans to all levels of the company and working with product teams to analyze and iterate quickly.
- Creating dashboards and monitoring KPIs.
- Collaborating with data engineers to improve infrastructure.
- Supporting ad hoc analytical projects based on Turo's strategic priorities.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a data analyst role (excluding internships and apprenticeships)
- Proficiency in SQL and understanding of relational databases
- Experience with Tableau
- Curiosity and attention to detail
- Good communication skills in French and English, with the ability to articulate complex ideas
- Ability to work collaboratively and at all levels
- Positive attitude, integrity, and commitment to Turo's mission
- Recommended experience with Python, Git, and AirFlow
- Excellent command of English language
