About The Position

The Dancing Bartender performs scheduled dances while providing strong guest service in a fun, energetic, and can-do manner. The role involves frequent guest interaction and multitasking, preparing and serving drinks, processing orders, maintaining a clean bar, and adhering to responsible alcohol service standards. The employee must follow the assigned dance schedule and company, departmental, and Gaming Control Board requirements.

Requirements

• Ability to read and speak English and communicate effectively in written and verbal form with guests, team members, and management.
• Understand and comply with company, departmental, and Gaming Control Board rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to multitask.
• Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members and guests.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain required work cards.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in extreme temperature changes, including hot and cold conditions, indoors and outdoors.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a bartender or apprentice bartender.
• Some dance experience.

Responsibilities

• Practice, support, and promote Company Service Standards.
• Perform routines and individual dances in front of guests and large crowds as assigned.
• Communicate with guests to meet their immediate needs.
• Prepare, garnish, and serve drinks properly and promptly.
• Accurately ring up orders in the POS system while socializing with guests.
• Follow responsible alcohol service standards, including slowing down or cutting off intoxicated guests when necessary.
• Make suggestions to guests and answer questions about available drinks and their costs.
• Work quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar and designated areas.
• Adhere to the provided dance schedule.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents within designated areas according to policy.
