About The Position

The Dancing Bartender performs dances on an assigned daily schedule while providing strong guest service. The role calls for a fun, energetic, can-do attitude, frequent guest interaction, and the ability to multitask. The bartender prepares, garnishes, and serves drinks, processes orders through the POS system, and maintains a clean bar and designated work areas. The position also requires responsible alcohol service, knowledge of available drinks and prices, and adherence to the dance schedule and company service standards.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and speak English and communicate effectively in writing and verbally with guests, team members, and management.
• Ability to multitask.
• Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members and guests.
• Must be able to obtain required work cards.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and to kneel, carry, and bend; ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work amid extreme temperature changes, indoors and outdoors, and in areas that may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, or contain secondhand smoke.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a bartender or apprentice bartender.
• Some dance experience.

Responsibilities

• Practice, support, and promote Company Service Standards.
• Perform scheduled routines and individual dances in front of guests and large crowds.
• Communicate with guests to meet their immediate needs and make drink suggestions.
• Prepare, garnish, and serve drinks promptly and properly.
• Accurately enter orders in the POS system while socializing with guests.
• Follow responsible alcohol service standards, including slowing down or cutting off an intoxicated guest when necessary.
• Know available drinks and their prices, answer guest questions, and work quickly and efficiently.
• Keep the bar and designated areas clean.
• Follow the provided dance schedule.
• Respond promptly and according to policy to emergencies and incidents within designated areas.
• Comply with company, departmental, and Gaming Control Board rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
