About The Position

The Dancing Bartender works in the Beverage - One Bar Frozen department at Golden Gate Casino. The role combines performing scheduled dance routines and individual dances for guests and large crowds with bartending and guest service. The employee is expected to bring an energetic, can-do attitude, interact with guests, and multitask while preparing and serving drinks, processing orders, and keeping the bar and designated areas clean. The position requires adherence to responsible alcohol service standards, company policies, and the dance schedule. Work may take place in unusually hot, cold, noisy areas and in environments with secondhand smoke, including inside and outside areas with extreme temperature changes.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak English and communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management in written and verbal form.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to work any day of the week and any shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members and guests.
• Ability to obtain all required work cards.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and to kneel, carry, and bend.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a bartender or apprentice bartender.
• Some dance experience.

Responsibilities

• Practice, support, and promote Company Service Standards.
• Perform assigned dance routines and individual dances in front of guests and large crowds.
• Communicate with guests to meet their immediate needs and make suggestions about available drinks.
• Prepare, garnish, and serve drinks properly and promptly.
• Accurately enter orders in the POS system while interacting with guests.
• Follow responsible alcohol service standards, including slowing service or refusing service to intoxicated guests when necessary.
• Know available drinks and their costs, answer guest questions, and work quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar and designated areas.
• Adhere to the provided dance schedule.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents within designated areas according to policy.
• Comply with company, departmental, and Gaming Control Board rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
