About The Position
As a Dairy Clerk at Tony's Fresh Market, you are responsible for delivering remarkable customer service through product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude. The role includes a variety of retail tasks related to products, customer service, and merchandising. The Dairy/Frozen department contains cold and frozen items, so the position requires working in and adapting to a cool or cold environment. The physical demands include regularly standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking around the store, with minimal sitting. The work environment is typical of a retail store, with noise levels ranging from quiet to loud. Lifting and carrying may involve items weighing 0–50 lbs. Baler use may be required only for employees who are at least 18 years old and have received proper training. Other duties may be assigned or required.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers and build rapport.
- Maintain a friendly, outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.
- Respond effectively to customer questions.
- Stock products and maintain product displays according to merchandising standards.
- Perform basic department cleaning and upkeep.
- Follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service and products.
- Listen for cashier pages requesting Dairy/Frozen department price checks and respond to support customer service.
- Use the baler if required, provided the employee is at least 18 years old and properly trained.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
