About the position
We are looking for a Store Operations Coordinator to manage the workload calendar and provide high-level support to stores. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a store leadership role, be a self-starter with strong communication skills, and have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. The base salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a gatekeeper for store workload. Manage Retail Workload Calendar including activity intake and execution timing coordination, ensuring activities are planned in a way that sets store teams up for success.
- Provide high level of store support through timely and accurate help-desk ticket responses. Create weekly ticket reporting and work with business partners to drive improved service levels to stores. Oversee cross-functional coordination and issue response for major issues.
- Identify themes and insights from tickets and make recommendations to Retail Operations leadership for potential process/system improvements
- Support with process improvements, pilots/tests, and project rollouts, including develop of thoughtful project plans
- Partner with Visual Merchandising team to coordinate floorset updates, collect required visual merchandising direction, and partner with communication team to submit accurate and complete floorset communications
- Partner with Planning & Allocation team to coordinate timing and manage volume of outbound transfers to distribution centers
- Execute and support planning and communication of other operational activities, including but not limited to price changes, promotions, and marketing/signage updates
- Serve as liaison between Logistics team and stores to coordinate changes to shipment delivery schedules, carrier changes, and holiday planning
- Manage store supplies and associated vendors, including budget management, sourcing of improved supplies, collecting store feedback, ensuring stores are fully equipped, and reporting
- Maintain accuracy of store database, including contact lists, district/region alignments, and store attributes
- Communicate and escalate issues and risks to retail operations leadership
- Maintain a full understanding of retail operations policies and procedures
- Support with account creation and administration for retail tools
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years in a store leadership role focused on operations (e.g. Operations Lead, Operations Key Holder, Operations Manager)
- Operate with a servant mentality towards our stores
- Ability to support a non-traditional work schedule (including holidays and weekends) to support stores, as needed
- Self-starter with ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement improvements
- Ability to multi-task and work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Extremely high attention to detail
- Ability to travel to Retail Store locations up to 20%
