About The Position
Looking for an entry-level work-from-home opportunity where you can help people, develop valuable professional skills, and build a long-term career? AO is seeking motivated, dependable, and people-focused individuals to join our growing virtual team as Customer Support Representatives. You'll work with individuals and families through scheduled phone and Zoom appointments, answer questions, explain available benefit options, assist with enrollment and policy needs, and provide professional ongoing support. No previous insurance experience is required. We provide comprehensive training, mentorship, licensing guidance, and continued professional development.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be physically located within the United States
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Have access to a computer or laptop
- Maintain reliable high-speed internet
- Have webcam and microphone capability
- Maintain a quiet, professional workspace
- Be comfortable using Zoom and web-based technology
- Be willing and able to obtain the required state Life & Health Insurance License
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, healthcare, education, administration, banking, call centers, military service, client relations, or sales can be helpful—but is not required.
Responsibilities
- Connect with clients through scheduled Zoom and phone appointments
- Listen to client needs and answer questions professionally
- Explain available life, accident, and supplemental health benefit options
- Help clients understand coverage and policy information
- Guide eligible clients through applications and enrollment
- Assist existing clients with policy reviews and beneficiary updates
- Provide ongoing customer and policy support
- Maintain accurate client records and follow-up documentation
- Build long-term relationships through professional communication and service
- Follow company procedures and applicable state insurance requirements
