Customer Support Engineer

Helping people integrate Intercom into their products

Diagnosing and reporting problems faced by customers

Serving as the bridge between customers and product teams

Providing support based on the principles of continuity and trust

Engaging in dynamic conversations with customers

Using visual communication (emojis, stickers, GIFs) to provide human support

Working primarily via the Intercom Messenger

Occasionally jumping on calls for faster resolution

Supporting customers long term in a customer-facing role

Contributing to Intercom's growth with personal experiences

• Solid basic knowledge of programming
• Active interest in learning Ruby and JavaScript
• Computer Science degree or 1-2 years working in a web development background
• Previous experience with problem solving in a troubleshooting environment
