About The Position

Nordstrom Rack team members work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, collaborating to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere and provide customers with a quick, easy experience. The role involves keeping the store clean and clutter-free and may require working in different areas of the store. Openings are available in Sales, Customer Service, Stock, and Fulfillment; candidates can discuss their preferred role during the interview. Sales and Customer Service responsibilities include maintaining a well-presented salesfloor, assisting customers with in-store, online, and mobile transactions, supporting fitting rooms, returning clothing to the salesfloor, organizing stockrooms, checking in and ticketing merchandise, using store technologies, following operational and asset-protection standards, and promoting programs such as Nordstrom Rewards. Stock Support and Fulfillment responsibilities include receiving and processing freight, delivering merchandise to selling departments, fulfilling and shipping customer orders, using inventory management systems, maintaining organized selling floors and stockrooms, and providing general store support.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere and provide a quick, easy customer experience.
Keep the store clean and clutter-free and assist customers in different areas of the store as needed.
Keep the salesfloor presentable, sized, and stocked through re-merchandising and straightening.
Assist customers with transactions across in-store, online, and mobile platforms using a point-of-sale system; bag items and handle bulky merchandise.
Support fitting room operations by greeting and assisting customers and sorting and returning clothing to the salesfloor.
Organize stockrooms and ensure merchandise is checked in and accurately ticketed.
Demonstrate expertise in store technologies and follow operational, merchandise, and asset-protection standards.
Promote initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
Receive and unload freight, unpack merchandise, and deliver it to selling departments.
Fulfill customer orders promptly and prepare orders for shipment according to quality, packing, and shipping standards.
Use inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments according to inventory control processes.
Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
Provide general store support, including setting up special events, organizing the backroom, completing markdowns, and relocating fixtures.
