About The Position

U-Haul is seeking friendly, motivated individuals for the Customer Service Technician position. In this role, you will be part of a supportive team, embodying U-Haul's exceptional service and ensuring customers receive all necessary assistance during their journeys. Since 1945, U-Haul has been serving do-it-yourself movers and their households. The company's concept was generated out of the widespread need for one-way, nationwide moving equipment after World War II. U-Haul co-founders L.S. "Sam" Shoen and Anna Mary Carty Shoen recognized and acted upon this need, facilitating the mobility of populations in the U.S. and Canada and giving birth to an industry.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers inside and outside U-Haul Center with U-Haul products & services
  • Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory
  • Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers
  • Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels
  • Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services
  • Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental
