About The Position
The ideal Nordstrom Rack team member enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. The role helps make the customer experience quick, easy, and fun while assisting customers in finding great deals. Responsibilities include supporting fitting rooms, motivating and inspiring others to adopt initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program, organizing stockrooms and completing inventory processes, keeping the sales floor ready through re-merchandising and straightening, assisting with customer transactions, using store technologies, and resolving customer situations in a timely and effective manner.
Responsibilities
- Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers, taking them to fitting rooms, and sorting and returning clothing to the floor.
- Motivate and inspire others to adopt initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
- Organize stockrooms and complete inventory processes, ensuring merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
- Work with the team to keep the sales floor runway ready through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
- Assist customers with a variety of transactions through a seamless and friendly experience.
- Demonstrate expertise in technologies used in the store environment.
- Defuse customer situations and provide resolutions in a timely and effective manner.
