About The Position
The ideal Nordstrom Rack team member enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. This role helps make the customer experience quick, easy, and fun while assisting customers in finding great deals. The position supports fitting rooms, sales-floor readiness, inventory processes, customer transactions, store technology, and effective resolution of customer concerns.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and escort them to fitting rooms; sort and return clothing to the sales floor.
- Encourage and inspire others to adopt initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
- Keep stockrooms organized and complete inventory processes, ensuring merchandise is checked in and accurately ticketed.
- Maintain a runway-ready sales floor through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
- Assist customers with a variety of transactions in a seamless and friendly manner.
- Demonstrate expertise in technologies used in the store environment.
- Defuse customer situations and provide timely, effective resolutions.
