About The Position

National Fitness Partners is hiring a part-time Customer Service Representative at its Eden, North Carolina Planet Fitness location. The role provides a superior level of service to members, prospective members, and guests and helps create an exceptional Judgement Free member experience. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 6:45 a.m. to 1 p.m., with coverage as needed. Starting pay is $11 per hour. Hourly increases are available at 180 days, one year, and every six months after the first year, based on the employee’s anniversary date.

Requirements

• Customer service experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling; climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, and reaching with hands, fingers, and arms during the shift.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during the shift.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using the information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point-of-sale system.
• Promote PE@PF fitness instruction classes to active and new members.
• Provide a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.
