About The Position

National Fitness Partners is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative at its Chambersburg, Pennsylvania location. The role provides customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, helping ensure an exceptional Judgement Free member experience. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 1:00 PM–9:00 PM. Starting pay is $11 per hour, with hourly increases at 180 days, one year, and every six months thereafter based on the employee’s anniversary date. Select shifts may receive shift-differential pay.

Requirements

• Customer service experience.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during the shift.
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching during the shift.
• Continual reaching with hands, fingers, and arms during the shift.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using the information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point-of-sale system.
• Promote PE@PF fitness instruction classes to active and new members.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.
