About The Position

National Fitness Partners, the largest Planet Fitness franchise, serves over one million members across more than 200 clubs and aims to provide an affordable, Judgement Free fitness experience. The Customer Service Representative provides customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, helping create an exceptional member experience. This part-time position is located in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, and the listed schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Starting pay is $11 per hour, with hourly increases at 180 days, one year, and every six months after the first year, based on the employee’s anniversary date.

Requirements

• Customer service experience.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling; must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during the shift.
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching during the shift.
• Continual reaching with hands, fingers, and arms during the shift.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using the information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point-of-sale system.
• Promote PE@PF fitness instruction classes to active and new members.
• Provide a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.
