About The Position

Norco is seeking a Customer Service Representative to serve walk-in and phone-in customers at its medical store in Elko, Nevada. The role involves understanding customer needs, educating patients and clients about medical products and services, and fitting and selling products and services. The representative also processes customer orders and enters them accurately into the computer, while maintaining a clean, stocked, organized, and presentable showroom. The role includes an on-call rotation of approximately one week every four to five weeks and other tasks as assigned or necessary. The stated wage is $19–$21 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent verbal communication skills, especially over the telephone.
Ability to work with diverse clientele.
Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
Ability to accurately enter data into a computer and acquire working knowledge of applicable software applications.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Greet customers professionally and enthusiastically.
Answer telephone calls promptly.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of products, placement, availability, pricing, and use.
Assess customer needs for products or services efficiently.
Educate patients and clients on medical products and services.
Fit and sell medical products and services to customers.
Process customer orders and accurately enter them into the computer.
Keep the showroom stocked, clean, organized, and presentable.
Participate in an on-call rotation of approximately one week every four to five weeks.
Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary.
