About The Position

National Fitness Partners, the largest Planet Fitness franchise, serves over one million members across more than 200 clubs. The Customer Service Representative helps provide members, prospective members, and guests with an exceptional Judgement Free fitness experience by delivering a superior level of customer service and helping maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.

This part-time position is at the Shippensburg, Pennsylvania location. The stated schedule is 6:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, with starting pay of $11 per hour. Hourly pay increases are available at 180 days, one year, and every six months thereafter, based on the employee’s anniversary date.

Requirements

• Customer service experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling are required.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during the shift.
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching are required during the shift.
• Continual reaching with hands, fingers, and arms is required during the shift.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using the information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point-of-sale system.
• Promote PE@PF fitness instruction classes to active and new members.
• Help provide a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.
