About The Position

U-Haul is hiring a friendly, motivated Customer Service Representative to provide customer service at a U-Haul center. The role works as part of a supportive team, assisting customers with U-Haul products and services, managing equipment rentals and returns with smartphone-based technology, and inspecting and maintaining equipment. The position includes on-the-job education and ongoing learning through U-Haul University. U-Haul offers paid hands-on working interviews, a hiring bonus, and a certification-program bonus. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship. The position is located at 18400 NW 27th Ave, Miami Gardens, Florida 33056.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be legally authorized to work without requiring employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels.
Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
Install hitches and trailer wiring.
Fill propane; U-Haul certification is offered upon employment.
Drive a forklift; U-Haul certification is offered upon employment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
