About The Position

National Fitness Partners, the largest Planet Fitness franchise, serves over one million members across more than 200 clubs and aims to provide an affordable, Judgement Free fitness experience. The Customer Service Representative provides a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests, helping create an exceptional member experience. This is a part-time, first-shift position at the Perkiomen club in Reading, Pennsylvania, with Saturday and Sunday hours from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Starting pay is $11 per hour. Hourly increases are provided at 180 days, at one year, and every six months thereafter based on the employee’s anniversary date.

Requirements

• Customer service experience.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling are required.
• The role involves exposure to cleaning chemicals.
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching are required.
• Continual reaching with hands, fingers, and arms is required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using the information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point-of-sale system.
• Promote PE@PF fitness instruction classes to active and new members.
• Help maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.
