About The Position

National Fitness Partners is hiring a part-time Customer Service Representative at its Lakemore club in Akron, Ohio. The role provides customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, with the goal of creating an exceptional Judgement Free member experience. The required schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m.–7 p.m. The position starts at $12.00 per hour. Hourly increases are provided at 180 days, one year, and every six months after the first year, based on the employee’s anniversary date. The posting notes that the required hours are a baseline that may increase but cannot be reduced at this time.

Requirements

• Customer service experience.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have two forms of identification.
• Must be able to drive or have reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using the information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage and merchandise purchases through the point-of-sale system.
• Promote PE@PF fitness instruction classes to active and new members.
• Help maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment on a consistent daily basis.
