About The Position

National Fitness Partners is hiring a part-time Customer Service Representative for its Planet Fitness club in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. The role provides customer service to members, prospective members, and guests while supporting an exceptional Judgement Free member experience. The position starts at $11 per hour, with hourly increases at 180 days, one year, and every six months after the first year, based on the employee’s anniversary date. Required availability is anywhere from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. during the week and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. every weekend.

Requirements

• Must be available anywhere from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. during the week and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. every weekend.
• Customer service experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during the shift.
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching during the shift.
• Continual reaching with hands, fingers, and arms during the shift.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using the information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point-of-sale system.
• Promote PE@PF fitness instruction classes to active and new members.
• Provide a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.
