About The Position

National Fitness Partners, the largest Planet Fitness franchise, serves more than one million members across over 200 clubs and aims to provide an affordable, Judgement Free fitness experience. The Customer Service Representative helps members, prospective members, and guests have an exceptional experience by providing friendly service and maintaining a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment. This is a part-time, second-shift position at the Silver Spring location in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Starting pay is $11 per hour, with hourly increases at 180 days, one year, and every six months after the first year based on the employee’s anniversary date.

Requirements

• Customer service experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Able to perform frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling; climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching; and continual reaching with hands, fingers, and arms.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during the shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using the information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage and merchandise purchases through the point-of-sale system.
• Promote PE@PF fitness instruction classes to active and new members.
• Help provide a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.
