About The Position

The Customer Service Representative works as part of a supportive team to provide customer service at a U-Haul center. The role assists customers with U-Haul products and services, manages equipment rentals and returns using smartphone-based technology, and inspects and maintains equipment. On-the-job education is offered, including ongoing education through U-Haul University and certification opportunities for propane filling and forklift operation. The position is located at 1705 S Main St, Roswell, New Mexico 88203. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship. Requirements

Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Legally authorized to work without requiring employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels.
Answer customer questions and educate customers about products and services.
Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
Install hitches and trailer wiring.
Fill propane; certification is offered by U-Haul upon employment.
Drive a forklift; certification is offered by U-Haul upon employment.
Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
Perform other duties as assigned.
