About The Position

Responsible for improving customer relations by providing professional product knowledge and service, through interpersonal and telephone skills, in an accurate and detailed manner. Experience in the Automotive paint business is required. The Counter Representative greets customers as they enter the store and ensures a welcoming, helpful experience. They assist customers in person and over the phone by using electronic and paper cataloging systems to accurately identify and invoice items. The representative places special orders or sources non-stock products as needed to meet customer requests. They are responsible for restocking and maintaining inventory. They keep their work area clean, organized, and safe at all times. Participation in the regularly scheduled physical inventory is required. The representative will assist with deliveries and paint mixing as needed. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support store operations.

Requirements

• Experience in the Automotive paint business is required.
• Proficiency in using electronic and paper cataloging systems.
• Ability to accurately identify and invoice items.
• Skills in placing special orders or sourcing non-stock products.
• Ability to restock and maintain inventory.
• Ability to keep work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Ability to participate in physical inventory.
• Willingness to assist with deliveries and paint mixing.
