About The Position

The Customer Service Representative works as part of a supportive team and represents U-Haul by providing customer service and helping customers with their journeys. The role includes assisting customers with U-Haul products and services, managing equipment rentals and returns using smartphone-based technology, and inspecting and maintaining equipment. On-the-job education is offered, including U-Haul-provided certification for propane filling and forklift operation. The position is located at 15 Pleasant St Connector, Framingham, Massachusetts, and pays $15.00 to $16.00 per hour. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship. Requirements

Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Legally authorized to work without requiring employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels.
Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
Prepare rental invoices and accept returned rental equipment.
Install hitches and trailer wiring.
Fill propane; certification is offered through U-Haul upon employment.
Drive a forklift; certification is offered through U-Haul upon employment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
