About The Position

Norco is seeking a Customer Service Representative for its medical store in The Dalles, Oregon. The role serves walk-in and phone-in customers by assessing their needs, explaining medical products and services, and fitting and selling appropriate products. The representative also processes customer orders, enters order information accurately into a computer, and maintains a clean, stocked, organized, and presentable showroom. Other tasks may be assigned or necessary.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, especially over the telephone.
• Ability to work with diverse clientele.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to accurately enter data into a computer and acquire a working knowledge of applicable software applications.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally and enthusiastically.
• Answer telephone calls promptly.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of products, their placement, availability, price, and use.
• Assess customer needs for products or services efficiently.
• Educate patients and clients on medical products and services.
• Fit and sell medical products and services to customers.
• Process customer orders and enter them accurately into the computer.
• Keep the showroom stocked, clean, organized, and presentable.
• Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary.
