About The Position

U-Haul is hiring a friendly, motivated Customer Service Representative to help customers at a U-Haul center and support the company’s service operations. The role includes assisting customers with U-Haul products and services, dispatching and returning equipment using current technology, and inspecting and maintaining equipment. On-the-job education is offered, including ongoing training through U-Haul University and available certifications for propane filling and forklift operation. The position is located at 336 E Baseline Rd Ste 100, Phoenix, Arizona 85042. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship. Requirements

Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Legally authorized to work without requiring employer sponsorship.
Must not use nicotine products, under U-Haul’s stated hiring policy applicable in Arizona.

Responsibilities

Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels.
Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
Install hitches and trailer wiring.
Fill propane; certification is offered through U-Haul upon employment.
Drive a forklift; certification is offered through U-Haul upon employment.
Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
Perform other duties as assigned.
