About the position
As a Customer Service Representative at Smarkets, you will be the first point of contact for all customers, ensuring an exemplary level of customer support and user experience. Your main responsibilities will include interacting with customers through multiple channels, processing payments, checking and approving customer documentation, and collaborating with other teams to resolve customer issues in a timely manner. Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for all Smarkets customers
- Interact and manage relationships with customers through multiple channels
- Ensure the site is live and accessible
- Process payments and check/approve customer documentation
- Collaborate with other teams to fix issues impacting customers in a timely manner
- Provide exemplary level of customer support and user experience
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Interact with technical and non-technical groups
- Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Be a natural problem solver
- Spot opportunities to help customers get the most out of the website
- Have good typing/keyboard skills and computer literacy
- Have the right to work in Malta
- Ideally be based in Malta.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact with technical and non-technical groups
- Strong writing and spoken English skills (level C2 required)
- Flexibility to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Natural problem-solving skills
- Ability to spot opportunities to help customers maximize website usage
- Good typing/keyboard skills and computer literacy
- Right to work in Malta
- Ideally based in Malta
