About The Position

The Customer Service Operations Associate (CSOA) - Filing Manager is part of the Account Services Department within CT's Business Licensing (BL) Team. The role primarily prepares and submits applications needed to obtain, amend, renew, or close licenses and registrations for clients. The associate works with Customer Success Associate-Account Managers to complete pending filing orders on time and resolve barriers to licensure, while documenting changes to filing processes for the relevant internal teams.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Exceptional interpersonal skills for communicating with government agencies and colleagues.
Tact and discretion when handling sensitive data.
Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong skills using Windows-based personal computers, including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe PDF.
Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
Strong organization skills across all facets of project workflow.
Excellent time-management skills.
Ability to maintain a customer-centric focus and work ethic.

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of data entry and/or licensing experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and file standard, advanced, and specialized applications and renewals across a variety of clients and industries.
Submit 50–100 applications per week, depending on filing complexity.
Work with Customer Success Associate-Account Managers to fulfill pending filing orders on time and resolve barriers to licensure.
Document changes to filing processes in the internal database by relaying them to the Business Licensing onboarding and/or research teams.
Work efficiently within an internal collaborative team environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
