About The Position

U-Haul is hiring a friendly, motivated Customer Service / Lot Attendant to work as part of a supportive team and provide customer service at its Kingman, Arizona location. The role assists customers with U-Haul products and services, manages equipment rentals and returns using smartphone-based technology, and inspects and maintains rental equipment. On-the-job education is provided, including training and certification opportunities. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship. The position is not available to nicotine users in Arizona, consistent with the company’s stated hiring practice.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship.
Must not use nicotine products, as Arizona is included in U-Haul’s stated nicotine-user hiring restriction.

Responsibilities

Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels.
Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
Install hitches and trailer wiring.
Fill propane; certification is offered through U-Haul upon employment.
Drive a forklift; certification is offered through U-Haul upon employment.
Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
Perform other duties as assigned.
