About The Position

Micro Center is hiring seasonal Customer Service Contact Center Representatives for its Corporate Office in Hilliard, Ohio. Representatives help customers find suitable technology solutions and deliver a high-quality customer experience. The role is suited to people who enjoy a fast-paced retail environment, learning new skills, and providing customer service. No prior corporate call center experience is necessary; training is provided. The seasonal period runs from the date of hire through January 31, with the possibility of an offer to continue employment. The position offers a starting pay of $17.50 per hour and a $300–$500 bonus based on completion of the seasonal period, performance, and attendance. Full-time and part-time candidates are sought, with availability between 10:00 a.m. and midnight and on weekends.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Strong listening, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Accurate and efficient typing proficiency.
• Ability to multitask effectively while managing priorities.
• Flexibility and adaptability when working with diverse customer needs and personalities.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in customer service or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Handle high volumes of inbound customer interactions by phone, chat, text, and email.
• Maintain working knowledge of consumer electronics, devices, and related technology.
• Assess customer needs, gather and clarify information, troubleshoot concerns, and provide effective solutions.
• Deliver personalized support to improve customer experience and satisfaction.
• Accurately document customer interactions and update records in appropriate systems and databases.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships to support collaboration and team success.
• Consistently achieve individual and team performance goals.
