About The Position

Micro Center is seeking self-motivated, results-oriented full-time Customer Service Contact Center Representatives to support a best-in-class customer experience and help customers find suitable technology solutions. The role is based at the company’s Corporate Office in Hilliard, Ohio. Representatives handle customer interactions across phone, chat, text, and email; learn about consumer electronics and related technology; and work to resolve customer concerns and achieve performance goals. Candidates must be available to work between 10:00 a.m. and midnight, including weekends. Starting pay is $17.50 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Strong listening, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Accurate and efficient typing proficiency.
Ability to multitask effectively while managing priorities.
Flexibility and adaptability when working with diverse customer needs and personalities.
Availability to work between 10:00 a.m. and midnight, including weekends.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience in customer service or a related field.
Passion for technology, including computers and electronics.

Responsibilities

Handle high volumes of inbound customer interactions efficiently through phone, chat, text, and email.
Maintain a strong working knowledge of consumer electronics, devices, and related technology.
Assess customer needs, gather and clarify information, troubleshoot concerns, and provide effective solutions.
