About The Position

As a Customer Service Clerk, you provide high-quality customer service in accordance with company standards and policies. You operate electronic scanning cash registers, receive payment for purchases, honor discounts and coupons, assist customers with Loyalty Program questions and sign-ups, and bag items. You also operate machines to sell money orders and lottery tickets and transfer funds by wire; process returns; sell gift cards and lottery tickets; and handle other transactions as needed. You maintain cleanliness at the Customer Service Desk and in the front area of the store, replenish display stock, and follow the uniform and grooming policy.

Requirements

• Prior customer service skills or related experience.
• Ability to operate electronic scanning cash registers and machines for counting money, wire transfer processing, and lottery.
• Ability to handle stressful and complex situations calmly and professionally.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a large team.
• Ability to provide regular and predictable attendance and comply with workplace conduct standards.
