About The Position

The Customer Service Associate models and delivers a distinctive, delightful customer experience and registers sales on an assigned cash register, providing courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. The role supports customers throughout the store, performs cashiering and merchandising duties, maintains store appearance, and completes assigned training and tasks.

Requirements

Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English, except in Puerto Rico.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

Six months of experience in a retail environment is preferred.
Prior work experience with Walgreens is preferred.
Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is preferred, except in Puerto Rico.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and patients, offer assistance with products and services, resolve issues, and answer questions.
Model and share customer service best practices, including courteous interpersonal habits and proactive assistance tailored to customer needs.
Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service; recommend products, trade-up items, and companion items.
Register purchases, collect cash, provide change, and process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; take inventory and maintain records.
Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by the store manager or shift leader.
Follow asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
Ensure compliance with state and local laws concerning regulated products, such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.
Construct and maintain promotional, seasonal, super-structure, and sale displays; complete resets and revisions as directed.
Assist with food separation and product placement according to policy, rotate consumable stock using first in, first out, and restock outs.
Maintain working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
Provide photo-area services, including digital passport photos, poster printing, creative machine services, and promotion of photo products.
Monitor and fulfill web pickup orders in Picture Care Plus, then deliver orders to customers when they arrive at the store.
Help maintain a clean, neat, and orderly interior and exterior store appearance.
Comply with company policies and procedures and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Attend training and complete PPLs requested by the manager or assigned by corporate.
