About The Position

The Customer Service Associate delivers a great shopping experience for every customer. The role assists customers with questions and recommendations; manages sales transactions at an assigned cash register; maintains cash security and protects company assets; stocks and recovers merchandise; receives merchandise and helps unload trucks; and replenishes stock in accordance with productivity standards. The associate helps maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment through professional, friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders. The position is also responsible for keeping the store clean and presentable, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, and taking out trash. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
Ability to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height.
Ability to meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Previous customer service experience in a retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
