About The Position

The Customer Service Associate - Receptionist supports reception, customer service, and clerical needs of the center. Duties include assigned job tasks, positive communication and interaction, problem solving, and telephone operations. The role follows the company’s administrative and departmental policies and procedures, including those related to safety and confidentiality. The position is full-time, scheduled from 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., and is located in Monaca inside Beaver Valley Mall. Lutheran SeniorLife provides community-based health and social service programs throughout western Pennsylvania. Its services include LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly), skilled nursing, home health, personal care, adoption and foster care, assisted living, adult day services, memory care, hospice, palliative care, residential living, affordable housing, home safety monitoring, Meals on Wheels, rehabilitation services, and private duty. Lutheran Service Society is a nonprofit human services provider whose mission is to empower neighbors to lead independent, dignified, and secure lives. Its programs include adoption and foster care, Meals on Wheels, senior centers, and affordable housing.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
One year of related experience and/or training.
Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Support the center’s reception, customer service, and clerical needs.
Complete duties related to assigned job tasks.
Communicate and interact positively, including problem solving.
Operate the telephone.
Follow administrative and departmental policies and procedures, including safety and confidentiality requirements.
