About The Position
Southwind, the owners of 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, is hiring a Customer Service and Sales Team Member for its Pinellas County territory, based in Clearwater, Florida. The role is part of the Field Sales & Service Team and combines customer service, sales, and hands-on junk removal. Team members provide a strong customer experience, explain services and pricing, identify sales opportunities, and remove unwanted items from homes and businesses. The position offers a stated average pay of $23–$30 per hour or more, consisting of a $15 per hour base plus profit share and tips. The schedule is full-time, five days per week: four weekdays and one weekend day. Paid training and advancement opportunities in sales, leadership, and operations are offered. Prior junk removal experience is not required.
Requirements
- Positive, energetic attitude.
- Strong communication skills.
- Reliable and team-oriented.
- Able to lift 50+ lbs.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be at least 21 years old for insurance purposes.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service, sales, retail, restaurant, or hospitality experience is preferred.
