About The Position

EDS Service Solutions is hiring a Customer Service Agent at MSP Airport in Bloomington, Minnesota. The role supports car rental operations by managing rental and occasional return processes, helping ensure customers have a clean and safe vehicle and an exceptional rental experience. The agent provides friendly, professional service, handles customer questions and issues, explains rental terms and charges, and assists customers with local information and directions. The position pays $18 per hour with weekly pay and includes an afternoon shift with weekends included.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Customer service skills and prior experience.
Valid driver's license.
Clean driving record for the past three years.

Responsibilities

Manage the rental and occasional return process in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Welcome customers professionally and provide world-class customer service.
Help ensure each customer receives a clean and safe vehicle.
Take ownership of customer service issues and resolve them promptly.
Contribute to teamwork and collaboration.
Use company-approved sales and service techniques to determine customer needs and offer optional products.
Prepare rental and return documents accurately and completely.
Qualify customers according to company rental requirements.
Provide directions, maps, local area information, and relevant service information.
Review rental parameters, rates, and service charges with customers.
Ensure the rental agreement has an accurate return date and time.
Review charges when vehicles are returned.
Prepare rental agreement folders with all required information.
Answer customer calls in a friendly, helpful, and timely manner.
Resolve customer service issues effectively.
Coordinate customers in the queue to reduce waiting time and promote efficient service.
