Work From Home Customer Service Agent – Entry Level
About The Position
AO is seeking motivated, people-focused individuals to join our growing virtual team as Customer Service Agents. You'll work directly with individuals and families through scheduled virtual appointments, helping answer questions, explain available benefits, assist with enrollment, and provide ongoing client support. No previous insurance experience is required. We provide comprehensive training, mentorship, licensing guidance, and ongoing professional development. This is a performance-based opportunity rather than a guaranteed hourly wage or salary. Individual earnings vary based on production and results.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be physically located within the United States
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Have a computer or laptop
- Maintain reliable high-speed internet
- Have webcam and microphone capability
- Maintain a quiet, professional workspace
- Be comfortable using Zoom and web-based applications
- Be willing and able to obtain the required state Life & Health Insurance License
Nice To Haves
- Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, healthcare, education, administration, banking, military service, call centers, client relations, or sales can be helpful—but is not required.
Responsibilities
- Connect with clients through scheduled Zoom and phone appointments
- Listen to client needs and provide clear, professional guidance
- Answer questions about available benefits and coverage
- Explain life, accident, and supplemental health insurance options
- Help clients identify coverage that aligns with their needs
- Guide eligible clients through applications and enrollment
- Assist existing clients with policy reviews and beneficiary updates
- Provide ongoing policy and customer support
- Maintain accurate digital records and follow-up communication
- Build lasting client relationships through trust and consistent service
