About The Position
Applied Industrial Technologies is hiring a full-time Customer Sales & Service Representative in Laurel, Mississippi. The representative provides professional, timely support to the sales team and customers, partnering with customers and Account Managers to identify products and services, address customer needs, and build positive ongoing business relationships. The role combines customer service and inside sales support with order processing, parts sourcing, stockroom assistance, and driving and delivering materials to customers. The position is expected to be performed on site and is not eligible for relocation benefits. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available. Requirements
- At least 1 year of customer service or inside sales experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR).
- Must be authorized to work in the United States; work visa sponsorship is not available.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional and timely support to the sales team and customers.
- Partner with customers and Account Managers to identify products and services, solve customer needs, and build positive business relationships.
- Process customer inquiries, quotes, and orders.
- Expedite orders and process returns.
- Source parts.
- Assist in generating sales.
- Help in the stockroom as needed.
- Drive and deliver materials to customers.
