Customer Marketing Manager

SuperhumanSan Francisco, CA
$123,000 - $195,000Hybrid

About The Position

Superhuman is looking for a Customer Marketing Manager to build and scale the programs that turn our customers into one of our most powerful growth engines — across Grammarly, Superhuman Docs, and Superhuman Mail. This is a high-impact, individual-contributor role with end-to-end ownership of customer stories, testimonials, and voice-of-customer programs. This role is highly cross-functional. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product Marketing, Demand Gen and Comms/PR to turn strong customer relationships into the proof points that fuel every stage of the funnel.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in customer marketing, customer advocacy, or content marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS or tech.
  • Proven track record producing customer proof assets that drive measurable impact.
  • Strong relationship-builder who is comfortable working directly with customers, executives, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for finding and shaping a compelling customer story.
  • Strong editorial judgment and experience managing production (video, interviews, multimedia) end-to-end, from briefing through final cut.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage a pipeline of multiple customers, requests, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Has a demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance, proactively manages tasks and priorities across multiple projects, analyzes and executes work efficiently, collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, and thrives in fast-paced, results-driven environments.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit and manage an always-on roster of customers across the Superhuman suite of products who are primed to evangelize our brand in campaigns, events and sales conversations.
  • Produce strategically relevant proof assets — case studies, video testimonials, quotes, etc. — that clearly communicate use cases, outcomes, and product value.
  • Own the proof asset library for the company, including testimonial capture and tracking, logo rights, internal enablement and approvals, and feedback loops to Product and Marketing teams.
  • Help prioritize the best customers and use cases for storytelling based on impact, readiness, and strategic relevance — and define the creative vision for how these stories come to life.
  • Manage end-to-end production for customer stories, from intake and stakeholder interviews through scripting, filming/production coordination, review cycles, and publication.
  • Apply strong editorial judgment to shape clear, compelling narratives, and maintain a consistently high bar for accuracy, clarity, and credibility across all content and formats.
  • Partner with Sales and CS to understand which proof points are already working in the field and where the biggest content gaps are.
  • Collaborate with Brand, Product, and Revenue Marketing on customer-centered marketing campaigns and initiatives, and improve how customer storytelling supports broader GTM efforts overall.
  • Coordinate with Comms/PR and Content on customer story placement and other owned editorial opportunities (blog, social, whitepapers, etc.)

Benefits

  • Excellent health care (including a wide range of medical, dental, vision, mental health, and fertility benefits)
  • Disability and life insurance options
  • 401(k) and RRSP matching
  • Paid parental leave
  • 20 days of paid time off per year
  • 12 days of paid holidays per year
  • two floating holidays per year
  • flexible sick time
  • Generous stipends (including those for caregiving, pet care, wellness, your home office, and more)
  • Annual professional development budget and opportunities
