About The Position

As a Customer Experience Banker Non NMLS, you are a Financial Concierge for walk-in customers. You retain and grow consumer and business customer relationships by proactively identifying financial goals and needs and recommending appropriate deposit and other banking products and services. You process customer transactions accurately and efficiently and balance daily while providing exemplary customer service. This branch banking role offers a welcoming and inclusive team environment where colleagues are empowered to help customers achieve their financial goals and share ideas that can impact customers, the bank, and the communities it serves.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service experience or qualifying military service in administration, contracting, civil affairs, or a similar role; alternatively, a bachelor's degree.
• Demonstrated acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales.
• Cash-handling skills.
• Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
• Understand consumer deposit products and educate customers about them.
• Proactively grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new-customer follow-up, outbound calling, and referrals from customers and partners.
• Educate customers and refer them to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build partnerships.
• Adhere to operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, and balance daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
