Customer Experience Banker - Lafayette, CO
About The Position
As a Customer Experience Banker Non NMLS, you are a Financial Concierge for walk-in customers. You retain and grow consumer and business customer relationships by proactively identifying financial goals and needs and recommending appropriate deposit and other banking products and services. You process customer transactions accurately and efficiently and balance daily while providing exemplary customer service. This is an office-based role in Lafayette, Colorado. The position is eligible for overtime pay. Huntington expects to accept applications through at least November 20, 2026, and may continue accepting applications until the position is filled. Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Huntington will not sponsor immigration benefits for this position.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service experience, or military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role; alternatively, a bachelor's degree.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales.
- Cash-handling skills.
- Comfort using technology such as mobile services and online banking services.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
- Understand consumer deposit products and educate customers about them.
- Proactively grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new-customer follow-up, outbound calling, and referrals from customers and partners.
- Educate and refer customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build partnerships.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, balance daily, and provide exemplary customer service.
- Follow operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Apply sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
