Carvana is hiring Customer Advocates with at least two years of customer-facing experience to deliver vehicles to customers and help improve the car-buying process. Team members drive custom car haulers; a commercial driver’s license is not required, and training is provided. The role involves loading and unloading vehicles, inspecting the hauler, completing customer paperwork, recording notes in a customer tracking system, and maintaining safe driving practices and a clean driving record in accordance with Carvana’s CMV Driver Qualification policy. Candidates must have or obtain a notary in their local jurisdiction within the first 90 days of employment, subject to state-specific requirements, and must satisfy applicable state requirements for accessing DMV, title, and registration systems. Additional licensing requirements apply in certain states: employees in Illinois, Michigan, Louisiana, and Missouri must obtain a chauffeur’s or other state specialty license within their first two weeks; California employees must obtain a Vehicle Verifier license within 90 days; and employees in Nevada, Tennessee, and Virginia must apply for a salesperson license within two weeks. In those latter states, obtaining the license is a condition of employment. The position has shifts of 7 a.m.–5 p.m., 9 a.m.–7 p.m., or 11 a.m.–9 p.m. Team members must be available to work any day of the week, with rotating days off between weekdays and weekends. The work involves physically demanding activity indoors and outdoors, including occasional exposure to extreme or inclement weather. Applicants must be at least 21, have a valid driver’s license, pass a drug test, and obtain a DOT Medical Card. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
