About The Position

The Custom Framing team member builds customer relationships and creates memorable framing solutions for customers’ art. The role also helps customers find products and supports a safe, clean, well-merchandised, and clutter-free store. Responsibilities include completing framing orders to a high standard and on time, maintaining assigned departments, supporting store operations, and providing friendly customer service.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills.
• Basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and a glass cutter.
• Ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly; move throughout the store; and remain standing for long periods.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and frames and access high shelves using a ladder or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and company policies and programs, including applicable legal and compliance requirements.
• Build relationships with customers and create custom framing solutions while delivering sales and production results.
• Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas, including SISO and Directed Replenishment.
• Provide friendly customer service, help customers locate products, and offer solutions.
• Maintain a well-merchandised and in-stock store environment.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, remain positive in difficult situations, promote the organization’s vision and values, and serve as a positive role model.
• Participate in truck unloading and stocking processes, following truck standards and completing work within budget.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash according to standards.
• Assist with omnichannel processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
