About The Position

The Custom Framing Designer builds customer relationships by creating memorable framing solutions for customers’ art and helping customers find what they need in the store. The role contributes to sales and production results, completes framing orders to a high standard and on time, and helps maintain a safe, clean, clutter-free, well-merchandised, and in-stock store. The position works in a public retail setting and in a frame shop equipped with a glass cutter and heat press. Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings. The role follows company policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and applicable legal requirements. It includes customer service, framing production, stocking and replenishment, register and cash-handling duties, truck unloading, safety and shrink prevention, and support for omnichannel processes. Requirements

Basic computer skills.
Basic measuring skills.
Ability to operate framing equipment and a glass cutter.
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, including regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching; moving throughout the store; standing for long periods; lifting heavy boxes and frames; and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

Build customer relationships and create custom framing solutions for customers’ art.
Help customers shop, locate products, and find solutions.
Deliver sales and production results.
Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas, including SISO and Directed Replenishment.
Provide friendly customer service and help maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures, company programs, policies, and standards to comply with applicable laws and requirements.
Support shrink and safety programs.
Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, remain positive in difficult situations, promote the organization’s vision and values, and serve as a positive role model.
Participate in truck unloading and stocking processes, following truck standards and completing them within budget.
Operate the cash register and handle cash according to standards.
Assist with omnichannel processes.
Perform other duties as assigned.
