About The Position

AGRILAND FS is hiring a Custom Applicator & Operations employee based out of Griswold. This hands-on, fast-moving role supports local growers during the season by operating and supporting application equipment and helping keep operations safe and efficient. The employee will receive training in the equipment used and the skills needed to succeed in the job and build a career. Entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver's license, and pass pre-employment testing and a background check.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working outdoors.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical work.
• Strong work ethic and a self-starter mindset.
• Teamwork and customer service skills.
• Must pass all pre-employment testing and a background check.

Responsibilities

• Run and monitor application equipment, including John Deere sprayers and spreaders.
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting, as well as daily pre-operation and post-operation checks.
• Load, unload, and handle materials while following safety and stewardship practices.
• Work closely with teammates and serve customers with a professional, can-do attitude.
