About The Position

AGRILAND FS is hiring a Custom Applicator & Operations employee based in Griswold. This hands-on role supports local growers by operating and maintaining application equipment and helping keep seasonal operations safe and efficient. The company provides paid training on the equipment used in the role and training and certification for a DOT license and Class A CDL endorsements. Entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver’s license, and pass all pre-employment testing and a background check.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working outdoors.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical work.
• Strong work ethic and self-starter mindset.
• Teamwork and customer service skills.
• Must pass all pre-employment testing and a background check.

Responsibilities

• Run and monitor application equipment, including John Deere sprayers and spreaders.
• Perform basic maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and complete daily pre- and post-operation checks.
• Load, unload, and handle materials while following safety and stewardship practices.
• Work closely with teammates and serve customers professionally.
